So I am not doing that. And so, brushing against the pad should not move the cursor. I concur that it happens when I am typing fast. Suddenly the cursor moves to where the mouse pointer is, or attempts to move close to it if the mouse pointer is not over a text area.

Now, the odd thing is that it was fine until literally this morning when I decided I had the time to install the windows updates that it told me I now needed wuile how odd that it suddenly doesn't work.
